Six Injured in Pinehaven Crash

A woman had to be rescued from the wreck of her car this afternoon after she was involved in a serious collision at the Pinehaven crossing in Krugersdorp.

A collision between a bakkie and a sedan resulted in six people, including two six year old children, being injured at this intersection. It is believed that the two vehicles collided and smashed the sedan on the passenger side. A woman who was sitting in the front passenger seat, had to be rescued by the West Rand District Municipality with the Jaws-of-Life.

The driver of the vehicle was freely removed and immobilized on the scene. All of the occupants were transported to the Krugersdorp Private Hospital.

ER24, West Rand District Municipality and Netcare attended to the scene.
