Three Medics in Crash

Three paramedics from ER24 are in a stable condition after they have been involved in a motor vehicle accident. The paramedics were on their way to a motor bike accident in Dorandia, Pretoria when a vehicle collided with them.

They were all transported through to the Kloof Medi Clinic for further medical management. The accident occurred at approximately 19h45 on 8 February 2007.

All the paramedics were assessed at the hospital and discharged at approximately 23h00. They are most fortunate to have only sustained soft tissue injuries. Families of the paramedics gathered at the hospital. The families were relieved when the paramedics arrived at the hospital with only minor injuries.

Another ambulance was dispatched to the motor bike accident. This patient was then transported in a stable condition to a nearby hospital.

The accident will be investigated.
