Suspect killed by Authorities - Results in Accident

Paramedics from ER24 were called to assist with an accident on the corners of Witkoppen and Rivonia after a Corrolla apparently lost control and drove through the fence of a new construction site.

On arrival paramedics quickly learned that the their was a different story to the accident. According to the police and security officials on scene, four people attempted to rob the River Club SPAR earlier the evening. Police and Security officials caught up with the suspects and resulted in a car chase.

It appears that the Corolla lost control and ploughed through the fence of the construction site next to Witkoppen Road. The vehicle travelled through the rubble and ended up almost against the building.

One of the suspects were lying next to the passenger door of the car and was declared dead on scene by ER24 paramedics. Apparently three suspects have fled the scene after the crash and two fire arms have been recovered by the police on scene.

At this stage it is not clear who shot the suspect and when he was shot.
