Matriculant Survives Crash

An eighteen year old matriculant miraculously escaped death this afternoon when his VW Citi Golf collided with the front of a 20 ton tipper truck in Rooseveldt Park.

Paramedics that arrived on the scene, found his vehicle ripped to pieces along with its wheels lying in the road. It was thought that no one could have survived this crash, until they found the student sitting against a nearby tree.
On examination it was found that he only sustained a few bruises and a possible spinal injury. If he had any passengers in his vehicle, they would have probably not survived or would have been seriously injured.
According to the driver of the truck, the Golf appeared to have lost control and swerved in front of the truck. No one in the truck was injured.
ER24 transported the eighteen year old to the Life Flora Clinic in a stable condition.
The student was on his way home after writing a mathematics exam for his senior certificate.
